About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide on-the-floor assistance to users, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal use of Windows 11.
This role is crucial for maintaining productivity and addressing any technical issues that arise during the migration process.
Key Responsibilities
- User Support: Provide immediate, on-the-spot assistance to users experiencing issues with Windows 11
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems related to Windows 11
- Training: Offer guidance and training to users on new features and functionalities of Windows 11
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of issues and solutions provided
- Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Feedback: Gather user feedback to identify common issues and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in IT support, particularly with Windows operating systems
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Windows 11 features, settings, and troubleshooting techniques
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Customer Service: A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Certifications: Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows 11)
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with network configurations, software installations, and system updates
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly
