Site Engineer

Abatec is assisting a highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor with the recruitment of a permanent Site Engineer. Our client delivers civil engineering schemes with values up to £1.5m, which encompass highways, RC structures and utilities projects across Devon. As Site Engineer you will * Be responsible for setting out and surveying on site. * Locate and mark services ahead of excavation with the use of CAT & GENNY * Check drawings and take offs for accuracy, ordering materials etc. * Produce QA documentation. * Resolve design/technical issues that may arise. Our client requires a Site Engineer with: * Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations and GPS. * A good understating of construction health & safety protocols. * Excellent communication skills. * HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering. * Understanding of AutoCAD Salary and benefits include: * Up to £37,000 per annum * Benefits package includes company vehicle, private medical insurance, pension etc. If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Kelly Evans on (phone number removed).
