Employment Services Manager – Prince Albert
Comp Code: 2403 200P Aug 30
Responsibilities:
Assist with the coordination, delivery, and administration of employment and training services to Métis clients throughout Saskatchewan.
Under the supervision of the Senior Program Coordinator, responsible for partnerships and negotiating proposals.
Liaise with public, private, government, and other stakeholder agencies.
Administer employment and training programs.
Ensure base standards are met in the case management of clients.
Monitor services/delivery for Métis clients.
Supervise and manage staff, following GDI policies/SGEU Collective Agreement.
Participate in regional labour market needs assessment processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel within the Province is required for this position.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Commerce, or another related field.
Experience managing multiple staff.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work cooperatively with staff and other agencies.
High interpersonal skills and good communication.
Effective workload management skills.
Preferred: 2-5 years of experience in the delivery of career services or other community-based services.
Extensive understanding of Métis culture.
Excellent understanding of current labour market issues and trends in Saskatchewan.
