Job Description As a member of the Global Communications team reporting to the VP, Corporate Communications, the France Communications Director is responsible for developing an ambitious, consistent, multi-channel, internal and external communications strategy to support Ubisoft’s business objectives, corporate image, and overall reputation in France. Your missions are as follows: External Communications & Reputation Management: Deliver on Global Communications’ campaigns, objectives, and priorities within France. Develop Ubisoft’s employer brand image in France, positioning our studios as leading places to work in the industry for diverse, talented people to make a difference in entertainment. Help grow overall awareness and favorability of Ubisoft within French media by: Structuring the press office and media monitoring (process, tools). Developing press content and materials to support the group’s and studios’ ambitions. Expanding our media relationships in France. Serve as the primary Communications partner for multiple internal stakeholders in France, including Corporate Affairs, CSR, New Business, Global Communications, and more. Leverage French studios’ involvement in games development projects to generate coverage opportunities in France. Create and deploy ad hoc and recurring campaigns (including Pegases, GameCamp, Paris Games Week, and more). Serve as a lead on crisis communications and issues management concerning Ubisoft’s French studios. Internal Communications: Create and execute detailed communications plans and strategies to ensure the success of designated internal communications projects in France. People and Partner Management: Direct 2 experienced Communications professionals. Manage communications agency resources, as available and as needed. Build productive relationships within a highly matrixed organization with multiple partners and stakeholders, including the regional communications lead, HQ leadership, France-based studios communications leads, and leads in the Global Publishing Southern Europe engagement hub. Manage an annual budget. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have solid experience and a strong communications backbone, an analytical mind and creative spirit, the ability to tackle tasks big and small, attention to detail, and dedication to driving results. Also, this role requires: Impeccable written and verbal communications skills in French. Fluent English is preferred. Experience managing external communications is mandatory, internal communications is a plus. Experience and comfort in advising senior business leaders on communications strategies and opportunities. Clear understanding of Ubisoft’s business environment and key communications issues related to the company and sector. Demonstrated success in managing direct reports and virtual teams. A team player with a can-do attitude.
