POSITION SUMMARY: The Data Engineering Manager leads the planning and execution of projects and initiatives to produce reusable data sets for automated reporting, dashboards, alerts, and data applications. Ensures data cloud platform and tools and technologies are provisioned to enable the team to produce impactful reports, dashboards and other forms of analytics and data products. Works closely with the leadership team and operational leaders across the company to understand needs and requirements, prioritize and assigns resources to deliver on such requirements. Leads the efforts to automate and integrate cross functional processes and ETL works and the development of data warehouses and repositories on the cloud. Ensures decision makers have access to actionable insights on time every time. Spearhead the effort to create a data driven culture. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the design, development, and managing of data pipelines to support HR analytics, warehouse management analytics, KPI and Metrics at corporate and plant levels, and implementation of AI projects. Architect and provision cloud resources to enable data automation and management. Ensure internal and external users access and adoption of data sets, reports, dashboard, alerts, and other data products. Work closely with operational leadership teams to understand clients’ requirements and turn them to impactful reports, dashboards, and other data products. POSITION SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Leadership Teamwork Critical Thinking Project Management Data analytics Relational Databases Microsoft Azure Cloud - Services for data analytics Microsoft Power BI Python or other programing languages SQL and NoSQL API concepts Data and ETL/ELT automation tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Logic App Understanding of UKG HRIS, SAP Business One, SAP Concur, SAP ERP, WMS – a Plus A minimum of five years hands-on experience in BI and data engineering DEGREES, CERTIFICATES and EXPERIENCE: Advanced Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field Comprehensive Logistics Inc.
