Network Security Support Analyst (MSSP/SIEM)
We are currently looking for an experienced Network Security Support Analyst to support our client’s MSSP, managed service security provider and security events (investigation, escalation, incident response, post mortem reports, SIEM rule tuning, etc.). The successful candidate will also manage some security related tools and licenses. The role will expand based on the capabilities and aptitude of the successful candidate and will work with different professionals from across IT on a daily basis.
The Network Security Support Analyst should have an extensive experience in the following areas:
- Daily management of MSSP – Managed Security Service Provider (alerts/events, escalations, investigations, portal management, SIEM rules tuning, etc.)
- Collaboration with different IT teams to investigate and bring security events to a closure
- Documentation of security incidents (post mortem), and security related processes
- Collection and documentation of security metrics
- Manage the daily operations of security tools and related licences
- Supporting/troubleshooting CISCO Routers/Switches
- Supporting/troubleshooting firewalls
- Periodic Security/Risk assessment of new Cloud based services, and/or applications
- Must be able to work independently

The Network Security Support Analyst (MSSP/SIEM) role is a 12 month contract role located in downtown Toronto, ON with annualized salary of $85,000.00 – $125,000.00.
