Tenancy Support Worker Location: Chesterfield - out in the community Hours: 37.5 hours Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm Salary: £24,004.50 Are you looking for a new role that will give you variety and a sense of achievement? I am looking for a Tenancy Support Worker who has a background in supporting adults who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and I want to hear from YOU today! Overview of the Role I am looking for a full-time Tenancy Support Worker, based in Chesterfield to work with service users who are at risk of homelessness. You will provide support to those who are in need, to try and access the appropriate benefits and help sustain their tenancy. Key Responsibilities: Providing general practical and emotional support to people in the service in Order to promote their independence and recovery Responding appropriately to chaotic and challenging behaviour to promote the Wellbeing of people in the service and staff Providing support to those at risk of homelessness Providing an effective and responsive supportive service Liaise with referral teams/agencies Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge Passion and desire to help people who are struggling with their tenancy and are at risk of homelessness A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - ESSENTIAL A DBS on the update service Professional or personal experience working with young people or adults with learning disabilities or mental health Transferable skills which could enable you to support vulnerable adults who are at risk of homelessness Is your current role related?
