Apply now to the Parts Planner position and be a part of our exciting journey!Job purposeResponsible for screening CMMS work orders, auditing equipment to document work requirements and quality, estimate labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment for all assigned work orders to support a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) program.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:Review, analyze, plan, forecast, and purchase spare parts and accessories required to support maintenance activities related to PM’s and internal work Orders.Keep the CMMS inventory stock count updated and make sure the technicians using the parts are updated in FIIX, for dedicated locations.Order and keep an inventory of tools, supplies and parts needed for various types of equipment.Review, analyze, plan, forecast, and purchase parts, accessories, and stands to support our customer orders.Generate weekly and monthly demand forecasts and provide the information to Group and other manufacturers/suppliers to ensure an adequate pipeline of material is available to support the business.Purchase spare parts and accessories from Group, manufacturers, and authorized vendors.Monitor, track, and expedite purchase orders to meet our requirements.Coordinate inbound shipments, review/authorize freight methods, monitor shipments, customs clearance, and receipt.Control and monitor all parts stocked and received at dedicated locations.Assist and supervise the annual Physical Inventory count for spare parts and accessories.Create/maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports.Participate in weekly & monthly meetings.Cycle CountingPerform other assigned duties.Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.Comply with all Company policies and procedures.QualificationsDegree required in a technical field and 1 - 3 years of maintenance scheduling / planning experience and/or 5 - 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both.Experience in an industrial environment preferred.Electrical/mechanical aptitude preferred.Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred).Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.Project management and capital project experience preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Working conditionsAlways work indoors.Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.Physical requirementsSitting involved.May repeat the same movement.Typing involved.We are an equal opportunity employer.
