You are an experienced leader and work to challenge people to be their best!We are currently looking for an Area Manager based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to beresponsible for activities involved in the daily operation of a portfolio of multi-family residential properties in Saskatoon. The role leads a team of site staff and plays a critical part in the success of the asset management operations. The Area Manager will troubleshoot operational and management problems unique to theassigned area and communicate solutions.Your contribution to the team includes:Manage assigned portfolio of buildings to improve efficiency and reduce operating costsPromote good tenant relations and marketing of the properties to minimize vacancy loss and maximize revenueCoach site-level staff in revolving tenant issuesPrepare monthly financial accounting, reporting and explanation of variancesOversee rent collection policies and implementation of collection programsAssist in the recruitment process for individual propertiesEvaluate economic trends, profitability and marketing issuesEnsure corporate compliance with RTB compliance in all areasRepresent the company at RTB hearingsAssist the Regional Manager with special projects or other duties as assignedWhat You Need To Be SuccessfulMinimum 3 years’ experience in an operations management roleStrong background in sales and customer serviceAbility to manage performance and provide feedback and coachingExcellent communication and facilitation skillsDemonstrated team leadership and collaboration skillsKnowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management and budgeting techniquesAbility to work and act independently using good judgement when assessing difficult situationsDemonstrated ability to be proactive, take initiative and remain calm in high pressure situationsThe perks:Employer paid extended health, vision, and dental coverage (including family)Employee and Family Assistance ProgramYearly health and wellness benefitRPP eligibility after one yearEmployee recognition programCompany provided cellphoneIn-house professional development opportunitiesWhy Broadstreet?Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is a family owned and operated property management company, partnered with Seymour Pacific Developments, that manage multi-family residential communities.
