Autism Teaching Assistant Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire Start Date: November 2024 Salary: £83 – £100 per day GSL Education is working closely with a Special Needs School in Scarborough to appoint an Autism specialist Teaching Assistant to work on a flexible basis. As a flexible Autism specialist practitioner, you can choose whether to work part-time or full-time, term time only. Autism Teaching Assistant Role and Responsibilities: Prepare learning materials. Assist in the delivery of play-based learning activities and educational activities. Adapt teaching support according to individual student's needs. Work alongside other professionals such as speech and language therapists and outside agencies to ensure EHCP outcomes are met. Support pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs. Why work with GSL Education?
