Quality Manager

My client is a leading chemical manufacturer based in Greater Manchester. They seek a meticulous Quality Manager to uphold our rigorous quality standards. The Quality Manager will oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance, accuracy of documentation, and effective resolution of non-conformities. Key Responsibilities * QMS Management: Maintain, monitor, and improve the Quality Management System in accordance with current standards. * Documentation: Complete all necessary quality-related documentation accurately and within designated timeframes. * Compliance: Ensure processes and procedures adhere to quality standards; take timely corrective action to address non-conformities. * Audits: Conduct internal audits, issue audit reports, and follow up on corrective actions. * Non-conformance Resolution: Investigate, resolve, and document customer complaints, supplier issues, and process non-conformances. * Customer and Supplier Liaison: Address quality-related concerns with customers and suppliers. * Quality Objectives: Set annual quality objectives and track progress. * Reporting: Contribute to quarterly and annual quality reports; manage action items from quality meetings. * Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the Quality Management System. * Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure all quality activities comply with relevant HSE regulations and standards. * Additional Tasks: Complete other reasonable tasks as requested by Directors. Qualifications * BTEC/HNC in relevant subject Essential Skills * Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Quality Assurance or similar industry within a manufacturing environment (ideally chemical manufacturing) * Understanding of QMS and ISO 9001:2015 * Strong auditing and problem-solving skills * Excellent attention to detail * Lead ISO 9001 Auditor (Ideal)
