About the role: We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic team. As an HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting our talented teachers and helping our students reach their full potential. You’ll be working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons, supporting students in small groups, and stepping in to lead classes when needed. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, is flexible, and enjoys being an integral part of a close-knit school community. Application Requirements: • Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role. • A relevant qualification (Level 4 or above in Teaching Assistance or equivalent). • A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students’ lives. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. • Experience working in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 is desirable but not essential. Key Responsibilities: • Supporting class teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons. • Leading small group sessions and providing one-on-one support to students. • Covering classes in the absence of the teacher. • Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources. • Supporting the social and emotional development of students. • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
