Senior Site Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Civil Senior Site Agent / Sub Agent on behalf of a tier one civil engineering main contractor to work on a large Water infrastructure scheme in Doncaster. The project is a £10m+ Water Treatment Works upgrade scheme involving full civils & MEICA works. This project will be running into 2025 with further work planned & secured in the local area to follow this. Current secured pipeline of work is over 30 sites within 1 hour of Doncaster & on frameworks with good longevity. Duties/Responsibilities include: * Health, safety and environmental monitoring by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures * Management / supervision of temporary works on site * Involvement with RAMS, permits, briefings etc. * Managing sub-contractors * Work with commercial team to produce financial forecasts and final cost & value reviews * Managing Engineers on site including: Graduate/Site Engineers * Reporting to and working closely with Site Agent and Project Manager Experience required: * Must have experience working as Site Engineer or Sub-Agent on civil engineering projects: Water Treatment, deep drainage, RC works etc. * Must have experience working as main contractor on projects £5m+. * Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree). * Must hold: CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and full driving license. Remuneration: A salary of up to £55,000 (dependant upon experience) plus: company vehicle or allowance, generous annual leave scheme, 7.5% pension, fuel scheme, healthcare and other benefits
