Construction Tutor
Location: Maidstone- Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30- 1600 finish at 4pm
Salary: £25000 - £27,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time (37 hours per week)

Overview of the Role of Construction Tutor
We are seeking a Construction Teacher to provide effective teaching, learning, and assessment for students with complex needs and behaviors. The role includes:
• Teaching Construction Skills (City and Guilds Certificate) at Entry Level 3 and Level 1.
• Creating an inspirational learning environment with high expectations for learner achievement.
• Planning and updating schemes of work to meet curriculum and accreditation requirements.
• Using varied teaching strategies and resources tailored to individual learner needs.
• Maintaining classroom discipline and safeguarding student wellbeing.

Qualifications required for the Construction Tutor
• Recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3).
• Extensive experience in teaching and planning.
• Occupational background in construction skills (Bricklaying, Carpentry, Electrics, Plumbing).
• Experience working with young people with complex needs.
• Knowledge of diverse teaching and behaviour management strategies.
