Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineers Due to winning new projects, Belcan is looking to recruit a number of Electrical Design Engineers, based in Glasgow, who will be able to apply electrical engineering knowledge and design expertise to generate electrical design solutions. The Electrical Design Engineers will be capable of generating detailed designs from concept to completion and addressing a range of engineering issues. The role has a strong focus on engineering delivery and quality, and you will be able to balance the technical responsibilities inherent within the role and working with the end client. Qualifications and Experience: Ideally be degree qualified with a minimum of 3 years' electrical design experience in a marine or offshore environment or time served with equivalent experience. Proficient in the use 2D/3D CAD with electrical packages. Understanding of cable segregation, noise requirements and electrical testing. A knowledge of overall electrical system design basics of circuit design / understanding of diagnostics to be able to understand down to component level. Have a knowledge of Communication protocols.
