Our client, a respected law firm in downtown Ottawa, is looking for a professional with at least five years of experience to join their team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and potential hybrid work arrangements based on performance. Interested? Read on to learn more!Competitive salary of $60,000-$75,000About youTo be considered, you will need:5+ years of real estate law clerk experienceLaw Clerk Diploma or equivalent combination of work experience and educationExpertise in legal procedures and statutes — experience with commercial purchase, sale transactions, and builder transactions/development work are assetsProficient with title insurance software, MS Office, TeraView, Unity, RealtiWeb, SolunoStrong proofreading, formatting, time management, and organizational skillsAbout the roleIf successful, you will:Manage commercial purchase, sale, refinance, and financing filesManage builder transactions and development workOversee closing activities for transactionsConduct title searches, draft requisitions, and prepare and register deeds and charges/dischargesPrepare transactional documents (private and institutional lenders)Order and issue title insurance policiesFile, diarize deadlines, and coordinate with clientsPrepare accounting docs (preparation of client accounts and others)Prepare reports to clients and banks/lendersPerks & BenefitsHybrid work arrangementComprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, etc)Generous PTO (paid time off)Client service bonus eligibilityApplied to this job already?
