Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Provide project engineering support, including leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
2. Establish project process design bases and ensure contractor designs meet them
3. Review contractor design documents for consistency with current practices
4. Participate in design reviews such as model reviews, HAZOPs, SILs
5. Support operations team for updates of procedures and equipment isolation plans

The Process Engineer will be based in Calgary and will work in the office with site trips as required. Wages are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

1. Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mineral Processing with P.Eng designation
2. 5+ years of direct Oil Sands experience preferred
3. Experience with PI and the SRC Slurry model would be an asset
4. Ore and slurry handling experience would be an asset
5. Effective communication skills with operations and maintenance teams
