Job Title: Metrology Technician
We are seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to join our Biopharmaceutical Chemistry Manufacturing Controls (BiopharmCMC) division in Harrogate, UK. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and/or complete all equipment documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and equipment test protocols.
- Coordinate with in-house or vendor maintenance and qualification activities, ensuring vendors meet GMP compliance requirements.
- Manage instrumentation downtime and arrange for the installation and set-up of new equipment as needed.
- Time management and prioritization of tasks are essential for this role.
Requirements:
- Educated to a minimum of A-level (or a similar educational standard).
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical role or regulatory environment required.
- Good computing skills are essential for this position.
