Shipping Supervisor in Calgary | $24-$26/hour (2024-06-24)

Join the team at IS2 and become a part of the thriving fresh produce industry in Calgary, Alberta. We are currently seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee operations at our Calgary warehouse. If you are a detail-oriented leader with experience in logistics and team management, we want to hear from you!

Pay Rate: $24.00 – $26.00 / hourly (depending on experience)

Shift Times: Day / Afternoon Shift

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Supervise daily shipping activities to ensure timely delivery of fresh produce
• Lead and mentor teams within the Shipping Department
• Implement shipping policies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve shipping-related issues
• Ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards

WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY:

• Minimum 3 years experience in shipping or logistics, preferably in fresh produce
• Experience with ERP inventory systems and adherence to HACCP guidelines
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Forklift and pallet jack equipment experience required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

• Schedule:
• 10 hours shift
• Day / Afternoon shift
• Friday to Monday
