Supply Chain Assistant

Job Title: Supply chain assistant (Graduate / College Leaver) Excellent opportunity for a recent graduate/college leaver to come into this role and progress through their career. Supply chain assistant – Main Duties: ·Collate and analyse KPI’s – for both logistic and manufacturing purposes. ·Data management within the Microsoft ERP system. ·Process internal and external orders. ·Monitor and review inventory levels. ·Issue and assist with stock inventory counts. ·Source new materials/machinery and liaise with suppliers. ·Place purchase requisitions and receive goods in via purchase orders. ·Assist with new product creation and price reviews. ·Provide troubleshooting support within the division. ·Perform various other administrative tasks. We are looking for a recent graduate/college leaver to come into this role and progress through their career with us. Qualifications / Skills/ Experience: ·A recent qualification HNC/HND qualification. ·Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). ·An awareness of lean manufacturing and kaizen. ·Meticulous and detail orientated. ·Ability to work methodically, and efficiently within deadlines. ·Ability to work independently when required. ·Good communication – both verbally and written. ·Teamwork ·Willing to learn and develop new skills. ·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Salary / Hourly Rates: Salary is negotiable dependent on experience Working Hours: 38.5 hours per week 9.30am - 18.30pm, Monday / Tuesday – 45 minutes unpaid lunch break 9.30am - 18.00pm, Wednesday / Thursday – 45 minutes unpaid lunch break 9.30am - 16.30pm, Friday - 30 minutes unpaid lunch break How to apply for the Supply chain assistant role: Apply in word format Ambitek are specialist recruiters in Manufacturing, Production and the Engineering sectors.
