What you'll be doing; To manage and maintain the daily maintenance of the plant within a team that delivers 24/7 cover working a callout rota to the Syngenta and West Yorkshire Mobile sites. To manage contractors and keep records to prove compliance. To provide a good level of housekeeping and aesthetic appearance in accordance with standard operating procedures and specified standards as determined by the contract KPIs and company values. To carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, repair, decommissioning and recommissioning on a wide range of plant including High and Low Pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment, ensuring that all equipment within Veolia's control is correctly maintained and repaired, maximising plant efficiency and the safety of themselves and all other personnel at all times. What we're looking for; Qualified to HNC or ONC level in a craft, trade or Engineering discipline Previous experience of steam boilers and hot water systems Be proactive and self-managing and to exercise individual core technical skills effectively, flexibly to a high personal standard High standard of housekeeping Proven ability to fault find and problem solve Excellent communications skills (written, telephone manner/verbal/face to face) Able to complete forms (e.g.: engineers' worksheets, Timesheets, PPM sheets, expenses forms) competently and accurately Full Driving licence Desirable competencies: BOAS Trained Other associated electrical, mechanical and control skills What's next?
