Senior Credit Risk, Project Finance

It is essential that all candidates applying have a minimum 3 years proven UK work experience. Our Banking client is looking for a Senior Credit Risk, Project Finance to join their small team on a permanent basis in London. Role: The successful candidate will assist with achieving departmental objectives through the provision of comprehensive credit application and business focused administrative support, monitor the credit risk and exposure risk of the portfolio. Project finance, infrastructure, structured finance and Real Estate focused. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): * Support Relationship Managers to produce and present high-quality analysis and recommendations on a portfolio of corporate clients (including both annual reviews and new transaction requests). * Focus on Project Finance, infrastructure, structured finance and Real Estate, portfolio across UK, Europe and other EMEA areas. Analysis include but not limit to financial analysis, cash flow modelling and financial forecasts. * Research and produce various industry/sector reports. * Monitor existing project finance transactions and internal credit ratings. * Attend client meetings and structure the transaction with Relationship Manager together. Skills, Experience and Qualifications: * Applicants should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in producing and presenting credit analysis in a Commercial, Corporate or Investment Banking environment. Ideally, the applicant should have proven Project Finance credit analysis experience gained within a major Bank or Financial Institution. * In depth knowledge of cash flow lending and structures. * Significant numerical analysis, financial modelling and valuation. * Educated to degree standard. Formal credit or accounting qualifications would be advantageous. * Strong technical credit analysis skills (including financial statements analysis, sector research, and financial modelling skills). * Knowledge of banking products from a credit risk perspective. * Fluent in written/spoken English.
