Tube Processing Operator

We are actively recruiting for Tube Processing Operator to join our clients expanding team in Ferryhill. Role Overview: This role is a permanent contract, initially starting on dayshift with a view to move onto a 2-shift rotation. With a salary of £13.73 per hour. Day Shift Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 12.30pm. 2 Shift Pattern Monday to Thursday 2.30pm – 11pm, Friday 12.30pm – 7pm. Monday to Thursday 6am – 2.30pm, Friday 6am – 12.30pm. Role Overview: Setting of tools, setting of the machines, editing programs and checking parts. The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 3 people. The individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance. Requirements: Experience or knowledge of working on CNC tube laser or CNC tube bending machines (ideally BLM) Knowledge of working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection.
