Co-op Engineer - Web App

Our team has an immediate Co-op opening for an Engineer.
Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and benchmark SAAS web application and the required databases running on local PCs
• Unit testing and documentation writing
• Support senior researcher on a variety of research-oriented projects

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, and registered with the school’s co-op program.
• Experience with developing web apps allowing users to sign up and login and then use an AI services, with Angular (is an asset) or React programming skills.
• Proficiency in Angular or React.
• Experience with running local databases and serving web apps off of local servers.
• Good understanding of at least one of the following topics: LLM/ML software as a service.
• Good understanding and experience with Linux and the setup of machine learning environment.
• Experience with docker container.
• Understanding of security and privacy is an asset.
