Position Summary: Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis works closely with the company’s project managers and the business development team to develop forecasts and financial plans, analyze operational results, and provide insights around project and functional area performance at a corporate level.

  1. Work with the project management team to maintain rolling 12-month revenue forecasts for resource planning and corporate budgeting processes.
  2. Deliver monthly functional area summary reports including forecast revenue, capacity, and utilization metrics.
  3. Perform actual to budget, actual to forecast, variance analysis, and summarize results for project management leadership.
  4. Develop and implement monthly reporting to track pipeline metrics, win/loss analysis, and revenue forecasts to provide insights into sales performance and resource requirements.
  5. Collaborate with others in Finance to support department goals and participate in projects to enhance workflows and drive efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B. Comm.
  • Professional designation of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
  • Six+ years' related experience.
  • Knowledgeable about financial software, corporate finance, tracking budget expenses, financial skills, analyzing information, developing budgets, and performance management.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
