The center will increase the company’s capacity for technological and scientific innovation necessary to meet its strategic objectives (decarbonization, digitalization…), while generating profitability and ensuring a high visibility on the Group’s commitment to the industry’s energy transition. It will rely on strategic industrial and academic partners experts in the maritime industry (laboratories, companies, startups, shipyards, etc.). CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members. CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient. YOUR ROLE Lead organizational change initiatives to enhance efficiency through strategic transformation projects, and support CMA SHIPS VP in defining and ensuring objectives achievement. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? As per company standards, you shall: Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations. Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies. Approve and review continuous performance improvement plan. Drive key strategic programs on behalf of CMA Ships VP (integration, business turnaround, growth-related, product development & innovation). Coordinate senior executives on priority projects for the company, identifying risks and roadblocks and deploy mitigating actions. Manage external projects (M&A, restructurings, subsidiary creations). Lead digitalization journey of CMA SHIPS coordinating with all CMA CGM stakeholders. Review, approve & coordinate implementation of proposed changes in company policies and procedures. Approve, review, and address CMA SHIPS risk mapping. Support CMA Ships VP in defining and communicating CMA Ships strategy and objectives. Support CMA Ships VP in setting goal, monitor work, and evaluate results and deliverables to ensure that organizational objectives and operating requirements are met. Support CMA Ships VP in ensuring quality, environment, health and safety company policies and management system are understood and followed by each department. Ensure adequate resources are provided to the organization based on the stakes and objectives. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Master’s Degree with relevant (operations, business) field of study preferred. 10 years’ experience in Shipmanagement, with 5 years relevant management experience. Solid background within the maritime industry, knowledge of shipping, shipmanagement and shipbuilding activities. Fluent in English. Strong skills in leadership and negotiation. Ability to manage a multitude of projects simultaneously. Proficiency in change management principles. Analytical and synthesis skills. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
