Learn more at icd.ca.ROLE The Institute of Corporate Directors is seeking a Manager, Communications, to oversee key components of the ICD Content plan. This role reports to the Director, Communications & Content.Content, across a range of channels and sources, plays a key role in providing ICD members with relevant information that informs, guides, and inspires directors to perform their governance role optimally. Directors work within a fast-paced, complex environment, and rely on the ICD to be an invaluable resource.This role will work in a highly collaborative manner with key stakeholders internally, to monitor the reputation, integrity, and consistency of the ICD brand across channels, to leverage ICD’s presence in social channels and to oversight the production of content across ICD owned channels.Key AccountabilitiesLead the coordinated approach and/or implementation of key elements of the annual content plan, specifically within social, ICD’s in-house magazine, and other channels.Develop key messages for the annual Conference and key projects, as assigned.Lead the development of the ICD Annual Report.Monitor the reputation, integrity, and consistency of the ICD brand and its communication, across channels.Develop and monitor social KPI’s.Grow ICD’s presence on LinkedIn and other social channels as identified.Support business goals through social amplification.Work in collaboration with ICD volunteers and Sponsors to extend ICD’s reach in social.Support internal communications needs.RequirementsMinimum 5 years in communications planning and social media management.Undergraduate degree or communications or public relations. SMP preferred.Effective inter-personal skills, working internally and externally through vendors to deliver outcomes.Outstanding communication, proven writing skills, highly creative, with an attention to detail.Proven effective management of social platforms, specifically LinkedIn.Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver projects on time and in full within a complex, collaborative, multi-stakeholder environment.Experience working with CMS and CRM platforms.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Google Analytics and project management tools, such as Monday.com. and Media monitoring services.Graphic skills, Canva and HTML, familiarization with AI tools, an asset.Ability to communicate in both official languages, an asset.To apply, please send a resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experiences to [email protected] ICD is committed to cultivating an inclusive, accessible environment, where each employee feels respected, valued, and supported.
