We are looking for a Class 1 Driver to do a mix of shunting, collections & deliveries. This can be physically demanding job.
Monday to Friday, start times approximately 9am/10am, 40 to 45 hours per week.
Your Responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver:
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
- Comply with WTD, driver hours & rest periods
- Scan pallets
- Load and unload freight
- May have to do deliveries in a van but paid as Class 1 regardless
What You Need as a Class 1 Driver:
- Valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence
- Minimum 1 year's experience with Class 1 vehicles
- Valid DQC and digital tacho cards
- No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
