Join our Investment Consulting practice, within our Consulting services practice, where we leverage over 30 years of experience in delivering tailored investment strategy consulting services to our clients, including establishing investment policies, selecting investment managers, asset-liability analysis and optimization, governance and performance monitoring. As industry pioneers, we have gained a reputation for innovation in creating custom investment solutions for our clients, both through our advisory relationships and our Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO), where we offer a unique opportunity for professional portfolio management on a fully open and independent investment platform. As a principal with the Investment Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic advice to clients on the asset management for their pension plans or endowment funds. You will lead and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders, offering innovative investment consulting services and ensuring our business growth. Your responsibilities will include assessing client needs and developing tailored investment strategies, with a focus on risk management and financial education. You will also enable our clients to make informed decisions and to achieve their risk and return objectives. What you’ll do


• Client Relationship Management: As a client relationship manager, build and maintain strong
relationships with clients, recognize their difficulties and suggest proactive and creative investment
solutions. Stay abreast of developments affecting pension plans, and share this information with team
members and clients, especially in relation to investing and risk management.
• Communications and Disclosure: Give effective, clear and concise explanations of complex investing
concepts to clients and stakeholders. Advise and support clients in monitoring their investments.
Leverage your knowledge of industry developments and emerging trends.
• Business Development: Play a crucial role in driving business growth for Investment Consulting by
identifying new business opportunities with existing and new clients, positioning TELUS Health as a
leader in the market.
• Team Leadership: Foster the development of team members through coaching, mentoring and
providing regular feedback; ensuring effective teamwork, collaboration and knowledge sharing to
enhance team engagement.


What you bring


• More than 10 years of investment experience
• Professional accreditation, such as CFA designation
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial markets, the economy, new developments in the
investment sector for pension funds, and emerging trends

• Proven ability to develop relationships at the highest levels of client organizations
• Ability to identify new business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and meet budget and profitability
targets
• Proven leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering
a collaborative and supportive work environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French (proficiency in English an added advantage)
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to clients and stakeholders
