They offer a wide variety of functions, including customer service, claims handling, underwriting, pricing, and other insurance-related activities. Whilst they have been on a growth trajectory, recently gaining support from new partners to accelerate their business further. They are now seeking a dedicated Travel Claims Handler to join the team and make a direct impact on our customer experience in Travel Claims. The role is Hybrid 2 days onsite a week. This role involves proactive management of travel insurance claims from initial report to closure. As a Travel Claims Handler you will be doing the following: Assessing indemnity, liability, and quantum on travel claims Identifying and referring fraud indicators Proactive case load management Negotiating settlement of claims Providing exceptional service to our customers Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements Contributing to improvements in operational processes within the claims area Supporting the Claims Team Leader with day-to-day departmental activities Maintaining high standards of quality, service, and productivitySkills and Experience: Experience in a travel insurance claims environment Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers, third parties, and suppliers Ability to interpret data to identify trends and inform action Self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team frameworkWhat We Offer: Competitive salary: Upto £26,000 (depending on experience) Annual salary reviews 33 days annual leave (25 days + 8 bank holidays) Central Cardiff location with hybrid working opportunities Evolving work approach with a balance of home and office working Nest Pension Scheme Equipment provided for comfortable home and office working Support for professional training and qualifications Refer a friend scheme Optional group social eventsIf you believe that you have the skills and experience for the role - then please get in touch.
