As the Designated Manager with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP), the Pharmacy Manager is responsible for complying with all applicable SCPP standards for designated managers, and provincial and federal laws which govern the profession of pharmacy practice.Not currently living in Regina? We will provide relocation assistance.Position SummaryThe Pharmacy Manager is responsible for their team’s scheduling, new hire training, and adherence to operational processes to support the fulfillment of the team’s goals — accuracy, efficiency, quality, organization — while maintaining regulatory compliance. The Pharmacy Operations Manager embodies and reinforces CareRx’s Mission, Vision and Values commitments as a way to support a positive team culture. AccountabilitiesDisplays a discipline to manage to the CareRx Company-wide SOPs, Lean processes, best practices, KPIs etc.Makes decisions and manages the operations within a defined frameworkEscalates new ideas and innovations in an appropriate manner and through the proper channelsDemonstrates the ability to identify and remove bottlenecks to keep processes moving, whilst not recreating the process Displays focused, repeatable and disciplined execution in meeting customer requirementsUnderstands audit and regulatory requirements (e.g. Health Canada audits, narcotic controls) and does not deviate from those requirementsDemonstrates the ability to deal with pressure and persevere through challenging employee and customer situationsEffectively balances the requirements of the customer, employee and businessMonitors, maintains and adjusts adequate staffing levels/ratiosProblem solves and/or participates in conflict/dispute resolution as requiredLeads the prescription fulfillment, packaging and verification department:Manage weekly prescription batch scheduleEnsure optimization of robotic packagers and optical verification machines Uses analytics and metrics to improve the efficiency of productionInvestigates production/correction/verification related incidentsDevelops and oversees onboarding and training of new employees as well as cross-training of employeesDisplays a dynamic and engaging personalityCoaches and motivates through positives and challengesBalances the needs of multiple teams and is effectively able to explain the “why” of decisionsQualifications/Experience:Registration and in good standing with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy ProfessionalsDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a teamAbility to remain unbiased when assigning tasks and resolving disputesStrong leadership, team building and delegation skillsAvailability outside regular business hours as applicableExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with persons of varying levels across the organization in a professional and mature mannerHighly organized and possess excellent time management skillsSkilled in critical thought processes and can prioritize appropriatelySelf-directed and has strong accountability for overall pharmacy resultsMotivated to achieve results that reflect a high standard of qualityMust demonstrate good listening skills and be adaptable to changes in the job environmentCertified in LEAN or Six Sigma, would be an asset; previous knowledge of process re-engineering will be importantApplication ProcessCareRx welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
