Cashier - Timberlands - Central Alberta Co-op

Our Timberlands Food Store in Red Deer is looking for a part-time cashier clerk to join our team. Part-time:  24-36 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.  Availability requirements:  Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons and evenings. Responsibilities: Greet customers and respond to customer questions, Accurately process sale transactions, Bag and assist with carrying out purchases, Complete cash up as required, Display merchandise, Ensure a clean and safe work environment, Other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, Attention to detail and quality, Exceptional customer service skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Ability to work independently and in a team, Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 , Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
