The Developer will be responsible for the development of world-class learning solution projects for all industries. The incumbent must be extremely creative and stay current with the latest trends in development and technologies. Attention to detail is a must in this position, and you should be able to work with minimal supervision. Work samples showcasing some of your best work will also be required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, business administration, or a related discipline; or completion of a college program in computer science. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Collaborate closely with a talented team of Learning Content Editors, Graphic Designers, and LMS Administrators to develop custom, cross-platform learning solutions. Work with Designers to create responsive UI-UX architecture for use in client solutions. Work closely with Designers to create interactive activities such as click and displays, scenarios, simulations, etc. LMS Administration which involves uploading and testing on internal systems, creating user accounts for students/clients, and delivering login information. Update and improve existing courses as required. Ensure work meets all quality standards. Position Requirements Technology Requirements: Moodle (additional training will be provided), VSCode, git, Azure, H5P, node.js, gulp, Microsoft Office Suite. Programming Languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, SASS. Ability to take initiative in conducting job responsibilities and work effectively in a team environment. Effective problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work individually in a goal-oriented environment is essential. Ability to schedule work and plan to meet deadlines is essential. Ability to communicate effectively and create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines. Hours of Work This is a full-time temporary contract position (35 hours) lasting 12 months, under regular business hours. The position is located in Fredericton, NB, with the possibility to work remotely and attend in-office meetings, as required.
