Maintenance Engineer

Job Role: Maintenance Engineer Location: Oldham Shift: Days Only Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum Metalis is working in partnership with a market leading supplier of bespoke pre-fabricated steel and mechanical products in Oldham who are looking to hire a Maintenance Engineer on a permanent contract. Job Duties: * Working to a maintenance schedule and implementing computerised maintenance scheduling software * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical equipment * Identify faults, diagnose and repair on standalone machinery * Perform preventative maintenance * Work closely with the production team to minimise downtime and optimise production output * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and ensure that all equipment is safe and compliant with relevant legislation and standards * Fault finding and diagnostic duties * Some manual work Job Requirements: * Ideally apprentice trained or qualified with an NVQ in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering * Experience working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics * Excellent communication skills * Electrical knowledge would a distinct advantage Salary & Shift: * Day shift, Monday to Friday * 7am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 7.30am-3.30pm * £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum If you possess the skills and experience for the Maintenance Engineer role, please submit your latest CV.
