Electrician Derby 37 hours pw Permanent £31,000 - £35,000 We are working with a client in the education sector, to recruit for an Electrician to join their team on a permanent basis. The postholder will be responsible for a wide range of compliance, reactive and planned maintenance duties plus small project work. The post holder may from time to time be required to assist the M&E Supervisor with certain management duties, or to deputise in the Supervisor's absence. Responsibilities of the Electrician include: Completing all works to JIB approved standards Undertaking tasks assigned via a PDA, and ensuring they are updated/completed appropriately and in a timely manner to meet SLA's Identifying and quantifying materials required to undertake work Carrying out regular plant and site checks in line with PPM schedules and ensuring that adequate records are kept Attending weekly operational meetings to review and allocate workload collaboratively with other members of the team Supporting the Senior Supervisor with audits Working collaboratively with other teams to deliver and engage with 'toolbox talks' Any other duties as may be relevant to the post.Essential criteria of the Electrician includes: City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent qualification City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition BS 7671 wiring regulationsFor more information on the role, please contact Bethan Hall at Hamilton Woods Associates, or apply now for an immediate start
