Based in Grenoble (France), we have recently started operations our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).We now focus on building the world’s most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France). With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually. In joining us you will actively participatein this breathtaking industrial adventure to shape the future of European mobility.Description of the job :Engage with suppliers and partners for cell component sourcing and feedback Generate (multiscale) and analyze results : characterization, testing, process-structure-performance relationships Assist in product validation (Specifications sheets, VPQP and cross-team relationships) Ensure traceability of methods, quality controls and results availability (LIMS/Vibe)Perform the disassembly of lithium-ion cells prototypes including coin cells, pouch cells and cylindrical cellsPerform the cell testingResponsibility : Apply safety consigns Know what and who to inform in case of a safety eventValidation and understanding of grades performancesGive Feedback of results to all stakeholder Ensure Traceability, repeatability and quality of prototypes and resultsRequirements : Specialized in Chemistry and/or Materials and/or electrochemistry especially graphite, hard carbons and SiOx materialsProcesses flow chart Li-ion state of the art Cell components chemistry Data restitution Experience with air-sensitive material and hazardous chemicals, in lithium-ion cell manufacturing and testing, in organic and/or inorganic materials, physico-chemicals.Experience of working in a dry room and/or clean room environmentWhy join us?Strong company spirit and culture settle down around our 4 values:ContributionWe promote personal initiative and give everyone the means to contribute to the company's success.CommunicationWe're committed to transparent communication: we say what we think, and we mean what we say.Team SpiritEveryone, in their role, is an ambassador for the company.
