This role is temporary coverage for maternity leave. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring payroll compliance. The candidate will be expected to work closely with the local payroll provider in order to ensure payroll deadlines and objectives, quality of service and operational performance.
The scope of the role has a major focus on France payroll. The candidate will work closely with the current payroll coordinator on France payroll on a day to day basis.
The role will be based in Paris, France.This role will report into the Southern Europe Payroll Lead.The position is opened from 1st December 2024 to 31st August 2025.

What You'll Do:
Monthly Payroll activity
Manage the preparation and processing of payroll information ensuring data accuracy and observation of deadlines
Confirm with HR Operations/employees that all data necessary for payroll are registered on time and accurately in the HRIS system (bank details, social security number…)
Makes calculation of payroll input data where necessary (ie: Leavers…)
Ensure all post activities (wage garnishment wires, Reconciliation IJSS, Time off, Benefits…)
Ensure processes’ compliance
Assist with any payroll audits request
Ensure SOX procedures’ compliance (ie: controls approved by internal audit)
Support HR Operations on statutory certifications (ie. Mobility related…)
Provide calculation/cost estimate on specific data (vacation accruals, profit sharing, leaver’s cost, “regul 10ème”…)
Answer Fresh Service tickets/Employee inquiries from employees for all Payroll related items
Potential project activity
Assist with cleaning up pay elements on France payroll through ADP Celergo
If any, ensure Mergers and Acquisition are smoothly and accurately integrated
Ensure in our HRIS system correct set up of time off if necessary

Who You Are:
Good knowledge and comprehensiveness of French payroll
Fluent in French, English is a plus
Service-oriented attitude and Ability to maintain a positive attitude
Willingness to learn, critical thinking, problem solving skills
Individual should have high energy with the ability to organize/prioritize workload
Self-sufficient and able to work independently
Knowledge of Workday and ADP Celergo platform is a plus
