Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant Company: Tradewind Recruitment Location: St. Helens, UK Type: Full-Time, Term Time Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Job Description: Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to provide one-on-one support to a child in a Year 4 class at a mainstream primary school in St. Helens. This full-time role is crucial in helping the child navigate and thrive in their educational environment. Responsibilities: Provide dedicated one-on-one behaviour support to a child in Year 4. Implement strategies to manage and improve the child's behaviour. Assist the child in engaging with classroom activities and following school routines. Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to create a supportive learning environment. Monitor and report on the child's behaviour and progress to relevant stakeholders.Qualifications: Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Assistant or in a similar role. Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, resilience, and a commitment to supporting children with behavioural challenges.
