Job: Fabrication Welder Location: Radstock, Somerset Hours: Monday to Friday (6am – 2pm) Pay: £16.00ph Our client in Radstock is looking for an experienced Fabrication Welder to join their team. If you have skills in accurate welding and a talent for precise tolerances this permanent position could be your next career move. You'll be engaged in ancillary operations, welding, fabrication, and final assembly tasks. The purpose of the job is to support the welders and fabricators. This will entail: * Picking material for processing * Operate power saws and drilling machines * Perform Welding and Fabrication activities on your own with the ability to weld carbon, stainless and aluminium steel using MIG/TIG welding plants to a high standard of cosmetic finish. (Essential) * Assembling kits for fabrication * Complete final assembly of finished items * Ensuring paperwork is correct and complete * Performing stock checks, general workshop and housekeeping duties and assisting other departments as required * Complying with all company Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures and policies To be considered you will need to: * Have engineering experience (i.e. assembly) * Be able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications * Be able to read and understand measuring equipment * Have great attention to detail * Be able to perform basic administrative tasks using a computer system * Have a flexible, adaptable attitude to enable to you to work across multiple departments as workload dictates For further information call/text/WhatsApp Lorna (phone number removed) Riverside Recruitment are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy
