Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Trainer with expertise in commercial/procurement management or project management, ideally within the Defence contracting sector (e.g., UK Ministry of Defence).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Delivery & Facilitation:
- Deliver engaging training on commercial management, procurement, and project management topics.
- Use a consultative, interactive approach that encourages participation.
- Incorporate real-world examples to enhance learning and retention.
- Customize training materials based on client needs.
2. Subject Matter Expertise:
- Instruct on key topics like:
- Commercial Management
- Contracts & Terms
- Negotiation Techniques
- Contract Management
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure training relevance.
3. Defence Contracting Experience:
- Leverage experience in Defence contracting or the Aerospace industry to tailor training.
- Deliver specialized content for clients such as the UK Ministry of Defence.
4. Program Development & Customisation:
- Design and develop both individual courses and comprehensive training programs.
- Continuously improve materials based on feedback and industry updates.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Account Management & Business Development:
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand their training needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through exceptional training delivery.
2. Personal & Professional Growth:
- Stay committed to continuous learning and skill development.
- Take ownership of tasks, demonstrating self-reliance and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in commercial, procurement, or project management roles.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs.
- In-depth knowledge of Defence or Aerospace contracting (preferred).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts.
Location:
- Mix of virtual and in-person delivery. UK-based. Flexible.
Salary:
- Starting at £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
