Procurement & Contract Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Trainer with expertise in commercial/procurement management or project management, ideally within the Defence contracting sector (e.g., UK Ministry of Defence).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Delivery & Facilitation:

• Deliver engaging training on commercial management, procurement, and project management topics.
• Use a consultative, interactive approach that encourages participation.
• Incorporate real-world examples to enhance learning and retention.
• Customize training materials based on client needs.

2. Subject Matter Expertise:

• Instruct on key topics like:
  • Commercial Management
  • Contracts & Terms
  • Negotiation Techniques
  • Contract Management
• Stay updated on industry trends to ensure training relevance.

3. Defence Contracting Experience:

• Leverage experience in Defence contracting or the Aerospace industry to tailor training.
• Deliver specialized content for clients such as the UK Ministry of Defence.

4. Program Development & Customisation:

• Design and develop both individual courses and comprehensive training programs.
• Continuously improve materials based on feedback and industry updates.

• Build strong relationships with clients to understand their training needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through exceptional training delivery.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in commercial, procurement, or project management roles.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs.
• In-depth knowledge of Defence or Aerospace contracting (preferred).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts.

Location:

• Mix of virtual and in-person delivery. UK-based. Flexible.

Salary:

• Starting at £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
