Quantity Surveyor - Painting & Decorating

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Painting & Decorating Location: Tilbury, Essex Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum Overview Based in Essex we are specialising in internal fit out works on Commercial buildings and refurbishment projects across London. We are offering stable long-term opportunity. The successful candidate will be assisting in managing the costs of various project, preparing tender and contract documents, procuring for materials for day-to-day site tasks. Ideally if you have experience working with decoration, flooring, tiling, carpentry, drylining trades. Duties of the Role: * Prepare Take offs, tender and contract documents, including bills of quantity's * Measuring drawings * Preparing Applications * Review material requirements and placing orders as per site request * Monitor costs to ensure budgets are met * Visiting sites when required * Liaising with supervisors on site Requirements: * Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations * Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent numerical and analytical skills * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications * Strong communication and negotiation skills If you are interested in this position and would like to know more, please contact Josh @ Hunter Mason Consulting
