The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, substantial law firm or industry experience, and exceptional communication skills. The role requires expertise in electrical engineering or computer science, with a focus on patent prosecution in related technologies. The candidate should also have experience in data science/AI, networking technologies (especially network security), and machine learning/artificial intelligence (including data science), with a preference for hardware security. Admission to the USPTO is a mandatory requirement.Duties:Conduct patent searches and analyses.Draft and prosecute patent applications in the fields of electrical engineering, software-related technologies, data science/AI, networking technologies, and machine learning/artificial intelligence.Provide technical expertise and legal advice on patent matters.Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and clients to understand and assess inventions.Evaluate patent portfolios and perform due diligence.Requirements:A degree in electrical engineering or computer science.Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is mandatory.4+ years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.Solid law firm, engineering, or industry experience.Exceptional writing and communication skills.Preferred Experience:Patent prosecution in electrical engineering or software-related technologies.Experience in data science/AI, networking technologies (especially network security), and machine learning/artificial intelligence (including data science) with a preference for hardware security.Skills:Strong technical and legal writing skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical and research skills for patent searches and analyses.Expertise in patent prosecution.Knowledge of data science/AI, networking technologies, and machine learning/artificial intelligence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
