Job Title: Commissioning Manager Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (Dependent on Experience) Location: Huddersfield- Medium-Sized Care Home Kelsey at Amber Mace is seeking an exceptional Care Home Manager to join a team committed to making a real difference in people's lives. This medium-sized, state-of-the-art care home provides outstanding care for individuals with complex mental health conditions, dementia, neuro-disabilities, and physical disabilities. With nearly all homes rated "Good" or "Outstanding," our client is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care. The Role: As a Commissioning Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to shape your own service and build your team from the ground up. You'll be instrumental in leading and managing all aspects of the home, from quality initiatives and team leadership to financial management and customer relations. With innovative digital systems in place, you'll spend less time on paperwork and more time with your team and the people you support. Key Responsibilities: • Lead quality initiatives and continuous improvement across the service. • Recruit, develop, and inspire your team to deliver outstanding care. • Manage referrals and occupancy, ensuring the home is at full capacity. • Analyse data to make informed decisions that enhance service delivery. • Maintain strong relationships with local commissioners and professionals. • Oversee financial management to ensure the business's sustainability and success. • Drive customer relationships and marketing efforts. About You: • First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN. • Comprehensive understanding of nursing care best practices, sector-specific legislation, and governance frameworks. • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with local commissioners and professionals. • Proven leadership and management abilities, capable of inspiring and guiding your team. • Excellent time management skills, adept at juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. • A well-rounded skill set, including clinical, business, digital, and operational expertise.
