Role Overview: We are seeking a Project Manager to support our Defence Programmes team. You will manage a variety of projects, ensuring successful execution and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage project teams or work streams. Handle budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Manage contract deliverables, subcontracts, and SMEs. Chair meetings, take minutes, and write reports. Support bid preparation and resource management. Ensure quality processes align with ISO standards. Build and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships. Promote continuous improvement and share knowledge.Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in project/programme management within engineering. Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other infrastructure projects. Ability to meet demanding deadlines. Experience with UK Government organisations, especially defence, is beneficial. Degree in a relevant subject and project management certification (PRINCE2, APM, etc.) ideal.Core Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple projects and financial reporting. Strong understanding of Quality Control and ISO environments. Good understanding of Safety & Environmental management.
