Contracts Manager: New Build Housing Permanent Location: Edinburgh Salary: £60k - £70k DOE + car allowance + bonus Ref: GR1384 Gibson Recruitment Limited Your New Employer: Having an abundance of NHBC Health & Safety Awards to their name, this National Private House Builder has a reputation in Scotland for building some of the highest quality homes in the country. Due to natural expansion, they have a requirement for an experienced contracts manager to join their operations team on a permanent basis. Your New Role: All developments are in and around Edinburgh and you will oversee 3/4 simultaneously. Due to the fast-paced nature of the business, you should be an energetic and driven Contracts Manager with experience in a similar capacity for another leading housebuilder. Candidates with minimal experience in this capacity are also invited to apply as the business values career progression and will support individuals as necessary. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Position works within the Operations team, taking control of up to four sites from handover through to contract delivery. • Ensuring contracts run on budget guideline. • Management of cost and programme forecasting. • Regular meetings to be held with company Directors, reporting on site progress, deadlines and any issues. Key Criteria: • Demonstrable experience as a Contracts Manager with another housebuilder • A confident and articulate communicator. • SMSTS qualification. • CSCS. • Proven experience of meeting deadlines and keeping costing guidelines.
