Director of Adult Faith Formation

Job Responsibilities:• Establish on-going formation series that could meet during the day and/or evening to meet the needs of the parish community.• Use the parish bulletin, website, and parish e-mail blasts as avenues to provide formation in the written form as necessary.• Collaborate with the Director of Children’s Faith Formation on continuing education for parents/guardians.• Establish a ministry for seniors that is both educational and social in collaboration with the Coordinator of the Ministry of Care.• Oversee the coordination of an OCIA program as necessary.• Participate as necessary with Diocese of Joliet Adult Formation gatherings.• Ministry of Presence at the weekend Masses once a month (Saturday 4pm; Sunday 8am, 10am, & 12pm).Requirements:• Applicants should have previous experience as a Director of Adult Faith Formation or its equivalent.• Certificate in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, or as a DRE is required.• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Theology, Ministry, or its equivalent is preferred.Interested applicants should send a resume to Fr.
