Currie & Brown is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented graduate to join our dynamic bid team. This is a newly created opportunity for a graduate bid writer. You will play a crucial role in supporting the development of high-quality proposals and tenders for our diverse range of projects across the UK. The role is varied and will give you the opportunity to develop in the following areas; Proposal development: Collaborate with technical experts, project managers, and senior team members to gather information, draft compelling content, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all bid submissions. Writing and editing: Produce clear, concise, and persuasive written materials that effectively communicate Currie & Brown's value proposition, expertise, and proposed solutions. Research and analysis: Conduct thorough research on clients, projects, and competitors to inform bid strategy and content development. Formatting and design: Create visually appealing and professional bid documents that adhere to brand guidelines and client requirements. Deadline management: Work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines and ensure timely submission of all bid materials. Team collaboration: Build strong working relationships with colleagues across the company, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Continuous improvement: Actively seek opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, stay abreast of industry trends, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of bid processes and procedures. The successful candidate will have a degree within a subject that required significant research and writing i.e English, History, Geography or Economics. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce high-quality documents that are clear, concise, and persuasive. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and excellence in all aspects of work. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, synthesise, and interpret complex information from various source. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with colleagues at all levels and work effectively in a team environment. Have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience with generative AI is a plus.
