Internal Sales Assistant Internal Sales Assistant required! My client are a logistics and freight forwarding company, specialising in pallet force, and warehousing. Due to company growth, they are looking for an internal sales assistant to join their team, playing a crucial role in working with, and supporting the sales team. Internal Sales Assistant - Job Responsibilities Working alongside the sales team in managing and expanding their customer portfolio. Building relationships with new and existing customers to introduce the full range of transport and logistics services the company offers. Booking appointments from leads generated by the sales team. Dealing with any customer queries, either by telephone or email. Dealing with any problems that require escalation. Quoting customer rates on any of the core services that the company offer and following up for feedback. Producing weekly job figures for bookers and non-bookers. Covering emails for the Sales Managers while they are out of the office. General admin via emails. Internal Sales Assistant - Requirements Prior experience in inside sales with quotations and customer service within the freight sector. Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
