Job Opportunity: C1 (7.5t) Driver for a Builders Merchant Location: Wimborne Company: Barker Ross Barker Ross is currently seeking a skilled C1 (7.5t) Driver for our client, a leading builders merchant based in Wimborne. This role involves delivering building materials to various clients, including construction sites, private residential properties, and business premises. Position Overview: Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday Start Time: 07:00 AM Location: Wimborne Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle to deliver building materials. Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to a range of clients. Load and unload materials, ensuring they are secure and undamaged. Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points. Perform routine vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations. Requirements: Valid C1 (7.5t) driving licence. Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) card. Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Minimum of 6 months driving experience in a similar role. Good geographical knowledge of Wimborne and surrounding areas. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
