The focus of this position will be to design and implement test solutions to measure and validate the infrastructure and functionality of our data collection and processing sub-systems.ResponsibilitiesWork as part of an Agile team to deliver reliable, scalable software components.Own and deliver innovative solutions for large scale automated testing strategies, quality assurance, and data analysis.Define test strategies, analyze results, and validate functionality.Work with development and testing teams to gather and extract test requirements and use cases, and to ensure adoption and expand the reach of the delivered tools.Fix framework bugs and improve test architecture, including adding required unit tests.Provide framework and test case documentation and training.Contribute to general Engineering practice improvement efforts.Minimum Qualifications3+ years work-related programming experience.Excellent coding skills in Java, C#, Python, or C++, and proficient skills in one or more common scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby, or Bourne Shell).A passion for coding, specifically designing validation and testability into the code.Ability to translate product requirements into deliverable User Stories.Understanding of n-tier architecture and related testing strategies.Prior experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, etc.Preferred QualificationsSuccessfully implemented data validation testing solutions across multiple machines.Comfort working at the Linux command line.Experience working with distributed systems such as Hadoop or Cassandra.Experience doing performance/load/stress testing (e.g., with JMeter).Prior experience with validation tools like SoapUI, kdiff, virtual devices, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
